Saturday, November 14th, 2009

Internet solutions provider, broadband network and enterprise-class business, NEC Corporation, announced that they have developed technology to optimize network management more dynamic. This new technology aimed at mobile and fixed networks using Open Flow. This device technology will find the route most appropriate communication.

This technology transfer is also a heterogeneous communication method to save energy. NEC also has developed a prototype for Programmable Flow Switch. The device had been through testing with communication experiment between Japan and the United States.

It also provides development core technology that allows use OpenFlow efficient network management and flexibility of mobile networks, which require speed and bandwidth are constant. The adoption of this technology provides solutions for dynamic switching between method different mobile communications in response to congestion. Environmental condition is also possible to provide high quality services for end users. (more…)
