Phone with touch screen technology began to dominate the smartphone market since the fourth quarter of 2009. Market analysts Canalys estimates that during the last quarter of 2009, mobile touchscreen control 55% of global handset shipments. In units, the number of touchscreen phones in the market reached 166 million units by the end of last year.
